some new vids, nothing special just trying to figure out traction issues.

Here is a vi of car hooking earlier this year, it was first day out on the new tires 29 x 10.5 stiffwalls @ 13.5 lbs. Hooked great every pass as seen here.
http://media.putfile.com/NINE-SIXTY

Then every day there after car refuses to hook now! tried air pressure from 10-15 and 13-14 best but still terrible. Best 60ft hooking is 1.33, best one after first day is 1.42

http://media.putfile.com/99-and-98-vid
Was 3000 ft DA this day and very humid, was playing with jetting. backed launch RPM from 5300 to 4700 to try and hook with still no luck. Just replaced rear shocks today, had stock gas shocks that were still good it seems, replaced with comp 3wys that I had from my firebird.
May try to raise front of car a little.

No, have to work
Miss-stang has been hooking me up with vids, cool girl.
My dad absolutley refuses, so any I get I am grateful for.
It really helps see what the suspension is doing.. Get a close up of your year and slow-mo it.. On my 87 it showed me I was getting to much list and tire was wrapping, so I lowered car and went to stiffwall tire and fixed it.
I should not in above vid, the day it was wheelstanding, they prepped with quad and sprayer to 330ft.. Most days they prep a 3'x3' patch where tires rest. slowing those vids, I am spinning about 1 ft after launch, probably just getting out of prep. Let me know how your car goes!

Some close up launch video like mine will show a lot more than a video from the grandstand.

Yeah I know,
in need of a video person, she did that first pass as a request. It helps, just gotta get a more clear and better angle.

what about track conditions, like temp and did you watch any other cars to see what they did? also in the second and third vids, it almost seems like the car is down on power, possibly due to weather conditions. I cant tell alot from those videos, but more listening to the engine, just poking ideas out there for you.

Second vid, was much more humid and DA about 1500ft higher so
Weather was certainly a factor, and was down on power.. Reduced 5 sizes in jet and picked up 2 mph through day. But still nothing to do with the traction issues, if anything that was helping.
I am pretty certain it was prep, they rarely prep.. Usually only a 3ft sq patch where rear tires sit and thats it.. But seemed I was hooking better last year with same tire but smaller 28 x 10, now using 29 x 10.5 and traction is worse it seems.
Seems its reacting to going leaner, so gonna try more this Sat. - just want Traction though!! its killing the ETs.. If I can hook I am sure I will get this down to 9.5s in good weather and maybe 9.4s.. I really need a new track, just this one is closest by 2 hrs.

Does the car hook lift and then fall and spin?

Watching the first video slow, it looks like it hooks, lifts, spins while front is in air, then falls.
That made me think rear is lifting to much or to quick, so I change shocks hopeing to slow that some.

Don't automatically rule out being down on power. I fought with a traction problem on my car a few years back that was actually made worse by less power. Less power dosen't hit the tires as hard which can lead to spinning. This may not be the case with your car but it is possible. Poor track prep could also have alot to do with it. What track do you normally run at?

My car was coming up real fast then spinning as you are saying I adj the front struts to full firm settings the car stoped doing crazy wheels up launch and never spun again. try some front end limiters.
