Win 3 rounds, go from 5th place to ...
... 5th place.
But, went from 3 rounds behind 1st place to 2 rounds behind first place, and 2nd through 4th are only "place points" ahead of me, meaning they're also 2 rounds behind 1st place.
The rebuilt rear held up fine, but ET's didn't improve, even going from 3.73's to 4.11's. But, the humidity was sky-high last night, which tends to kill ET even though the weather station says DA is lower.
Racing the Camaro in the slower class for my son, who is out of state in college, I had a light & package in the first round that would win 90% of races in that class, but the other guy (a 4th gen 'Bird) put a .000 light on me to my .060 light. He was off his dial by .060, I took .0073 stripe and broke out by .007.
One more race left in this series, 3 weeks from now.

It's getting cold here also. Dropping below freezing in low areas at night. Season's almost over.
Our Wednesday night series has one more race to collect points before the season final. Top 16 get invited to race for the prize fund in the final. I'm currently in 13th position. It should be a laddered race of the top 16, all I have to do is stay qualified to enter then go 4 rounds for the win. Next race might get rained out so I shouldn't have a problem qualifying. If the season's qualifying points are taken into account for the final race then I have no chance of winning but I don't think they're going to do that.
I had way to many red lights during the last race I did 22 passes down the track in 8 days and was reacting so fast to the lights. I need to add more delay in the box to stop the red lights. Sucks to lose a race with a .002 red light then almost running your number.
The Wednesday night race that I won last month, I pulled a .001 reaction time in the final round just when I needed it against a .071 light. He was slightly closer to his dial but would have needed an almost similar light to beat me.
My car doesn't seem to mind humidity but hates low barometric pressure even if at the same or higher DA.
