advice
Wasup guys.
I will be going to the track with my car 4 the first time so I will really like to know how to launch, with the e-brake or brake?
I have no trans-lock and stock converter. stock 305 tpi.

I 2nd the foot brake. Find the RPM that you can stall your car to with out rolling trought the beams and red lighting and release the brake and leave on the last yellow light.

wait, i'm confused, how do i do it in my car? it's a standard, i always use my e-brake, is there any other way?

I guess you could use your ebrake, it just seems like one more thing to be inconsistent, you know? Of course I have driven faster cars at the track, but I usually left the line with both hands on the wheel, if you get pitched it is a lot easier to correct with two hands. Otherwise, I would have one hand on the wheel and one hand on the shifter. If it is a standard you should probably just hold the clutch in, its not like it will roll.
