Cannot be disappointed with poor numbers from a 305. Hell, i think i was trapping 85 MPH in a 305 i had so yours runs WAY better than mine did.

Consistent MPH so it's making the same HP. Need some better tires to make that ET more consistent.

Re: took the 305 to the track
Should be no reason for it to not have the power for a 1.9x 60' time that should make your 15.6 into a 14.xx.

Re: took the 305 to the track
i run a 9.5 in the 1/8, and that was with 2.73 peg leg on stock exhaust manifolds
.19 RT
2.2 60'
6.5 330'
9.5 1/8
that was losing traction off the line and shifting early
you may want to play with your timing, or maybe a stronger ignition
i havent been back since the 3.23's and a bunch of my other mods

Re: took the 305 to the track
i hit a 2.1 60 one time.
my timing is at *8,it seems to feel good for the low end power on the street.
i believe most comes down to my worn 225/60/16s

Re: took the 305 to the track
i dont know sometime slick worn will hook up better try droping your air pressure in the pretty low
just time seems slow even losing traction because i lost traction and was shifting early
i had some of my mods that are listed in the garage, but i would figure with your mods we and you having better gears than i did at the time of the run i made, i dont know man seems wierd
