Logging Software and Weather Stations?

I got the itch this past summer drag racing and noticed EVERYONE at the track had weather stations and logging software. Being poor, and also writing software for a living I started writing my own logging software with weather calculations. I was thinking about getting ideas for my software so that other people could use it too, and actually have it be useful on a broad scale, and eventually make it available for everyone. So it would definitely help me out if anyone would be willing to share what they do or don't like about their software, can or cannot do with it, and possibly give mine a try.

I guess a short list of things mine does for now is...

- Save important weather such as temp, wind speed/direction, density altitude, pressure altitude, humidity/water grains... etc..
- Save all run information from time slips
- Reprint time slips (kinda trying this out for now)
- Compare your run versus other person's to see distance apart at each interval on the track

Mods I apologize if this is inappropriate, but it would give myself and everyone else a chance to benefit.
