There is a place locally that does a dyno test with the following features:
1) HP
2) Torque
3) 0-60 time
4) 1/4 mile time

You get three runs and can make changes between runs to check changes (I plan to remove the intake baffles and MAF screen to see what is real.)

$85

WHen I take off my snow tires and put my performance tires back on my car - I'm there!

I'll post the results.

Hey Christos, I havent heard from you in a while... Whats up?

There is a dyno place in Mission Viejo, its a Mustang shop, but they're friendly to us f-body guys. Its GRC Performance, at http://www.grcperformance.com/ Ask for Phil and tell him you're with the SoCal F-Bodies, he'll give you the good rate. Or you wait a couple months till we SoCal Thirdgenners have another dyno day.

Hey! thanks for the reply. it isn't anywhere near as expensive as i thought!

Hey kevin91Z! yeah, ive done everything to my car that i think i can do myself, so i have just been reading here, and not posting as much. still having some odd problems.

Would you be game to help me install some headers? i could compensate you with some $$s for your time or something.

Cool? after i set the timing in my car, it seems to be a bit healthier. i bet i could drive it that far with minimum problems.

well, just post, or e-mail me at christhegimp@yahoo.com

cool beans.

hey cool. thanks! ive e-mailed you both already.

is your dad a mechanic in a shop? or just out of your garage? just wondering. i would love a chance to help out, and maybe learn some things. I am going to have to save like a madman to get some headers first.

i think the smartest thing i can do for my car is fix what was broken in the crash, and if it still doesn't run right, troubleshoot from there.

cool, shoot me an e-mail sometime!

My dad has a shop, near the arrowhead pond.

I think there's a GP on the SLP headers going on right now. Check the GP board here.
