PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM AND CANT FIND ANYBODY WITH SOME INSIGHT.I HAVE AN 87 T/A WITH A GMPP 350CID 9.8 TO 1 L-98 ALUMINUM HEAD SMALLBLOCK WITH THE FOLLOWING MODS.PORTED PLENUM,SLP RUNNERS,SLP 1 5/8 HEADERS,3IN. Y-PIPE,HI FLOW CAT,3IN.FLOWMASTER EXHAUST,ADJ.FUEL PRESS.REG,ADS STRIP CHIP,ACCEL CAP,COIL& ROTOR,AIRFOIL,LT4 HOT CAM WITH 1.5 ROCKERS SPECS 112LSA,218INTAKE,228 EXHAUST,.492 LIFT ON BOTH,9 BOLT BORG WARNER WITH 3.27 GEARS(EVERYTHING ELSE IS STOCK ,INTAKE,CONVERTER,IGN.MODULE).I'VE READ IN MANY ARTICLES THAT WITH ALL THESE MODS ON A THIRD GEN IT SHOULD PULL LOW 13'S WITHOUT A PROBLEM.HOWEVER THE BEST TIME A GOT WAS LAST YEAR AT ENGLISHTOWN I RAN A 14.10@97MPH(ON STREET RADIALS).IS THERE SOMETHING TERRIBLY WRONG WITH THESE NUMBERS OR AM I EXPECTING TO MUCH?ALSO I AM RUNNING 12 DEGREES OF TIMING ACCORDING TO THE POINTER.IF I GO ANY HIGHER IT DETONATES ANY LOWER AND IT LOSES A LOT OF POWER.THE CAR ISNT BREAKING UP AT ALL IT IDLES PERFECTLY AND I GET 60 FOOT TIMES OF 2.0 FLAT.TIRED OF FEELING I WASTED $4,000 TO GO AS FAST AS THESE CARS WENT NEW.ANYBODY WITH ANY INSIGHT WOULD BE A TREMENDOUS HELP.I'M TRYING TO KEEP FROM SPENDING LOTS OF CASH ON DYNO SESSIONS TO TROUBLESHOOT THIS THING.
Well, What size injectors are you running? AFP is really touchy. Im not sure i have alot of insight on this but, i will try. I've always had problems like this to you do a mod and get noting it seems. Youre altitude has alot to do with it. There is a formula for correcting it but i dont know it. your sixty foot time is good but to get low 13's i believe you MPH time would have to be above 100MPH sound like you migh be stuggling on top end. hope this helps a little.

THE INJECTORS ARE STOCK 22LB./HR.STOCK TPI BASE,STOCK TOURQE CONVERTER,AND THE AFPR IS SET AT 50 PSI

I am going there today with a friend. He is having the same problem you were. We were at e-town sunday and he ran a 14.5, when he was expecting mid/high 13s.
Shoot me an email and I'll tell you more about cartek. By the way, it's only $250 for 3 dyno runs and tuning (by them)
