Can somebody explain autocross to me?

Never done it, never really paid attention to what it was...

so...

what is it, rules, etc.

Autocrossing is running a short course outlined with pylons. You are allowed to "walk" the course to get a feel for it, however you cannot make "practice laps". You run against the clock. It's a great way to improve your driving skills and see how well your car handles... I've simplified the whole process. Try this link for more info and rules... www.scca.org

Solo II is another term for autocross. I think you will find this term used at scca.org
