looking for 12`s

This is the combination I am looking at putting together and I`m sure it will run
low 13`s but I am hoping it might hit high
12`s.Rebuilt 355 sbc with 10.5:1 compression,
dart sportman II heads,xe262 cam,wiend stealth intake,750 holley v.s.,shorty headers,dual high flow cats,dual exhaust,
3.73 gears,aubourne differential,th700r4
w/2400 stall converter,shift kit,msd ignition,accel coil,cowl induction hood,
3" k+n filter with xtreme lid.G60 Hoosier
tires.The car should wiegh about 3520lbs.

Do yourself a favor and trash that Vaccum Secondary 750 and go with a 4150 double. They are much better carbs for performance applications.

Agreed with the VS carb. I also don't think the xe262 cam is enough for such a heavy car. The 700R4 isn't going to help much either. The low first gear creates too much of a gear spread between the 1-2 shift. You need to over-rev first gear so that when you shift to second you're not way below the power curve.

I'd guess with the current setup for a mid 13's. It'll really depend on traction.

what about a camaro with a 355 carbed 750 DP with 400 horsepower and a turbo 350 with a b&m shift kit, 3.73 gears, and 3 inch cat back with a flowmaster? I am looking for 12's. I have at least 400 hp on the engine, so what do you guys think?
