lca location change...will it make handling different.

I need to move the lca on our 88 bird to fit the 27x14 tires. Under hard cornering the tires are deflecting enough that they are rubbing the inner fender well and the lca. I have already started the mini Tub for the fender clearance. My ? Is if I move the spacers around so that I the lca is inward 1/2" more will this change any handling or be basically unchanged . Here is a photo of how it looks

Go ahead and move it inward as far as you can. The actual mounting points have not changed and it will still hangle the same.
