I purchased a s480 turbo from turbodaves, about 2 weeks ago. It was supposed to ship mid to late week of the week that just passed. Tried contacting him several times, several ways to no avail. Has aybody here dealt with him, or deal with him on a regular basis. That could help out. Or give any advice thank you. I know 2 weeks isnt that long but without contact it seems rediculous.

 

Never heard of him. Trouble with ordering online is that you need to first check to see if the seller even has the item in stock and when it's expected to ship. It costs a lot of money to have parts sitting on the shelf waiting to be bought. Many sellers just wait for an order then make the purchase directly from a manufacturer in a stock order before shipping it to you from their location. This can add a week or 2 to your order.

 

Thanx for the reply. I do beleave thats the case. But to not have any contact with someone after youve taken there money is terrible customer service. Ive seen post of him on turbo threads saying he was great and quick and only 2 saying otherwise. Guess ill just fall into the otherwise category. Also if u never receive a product isnt it possibl to stop payment.

 

Ok update. Canceled payment to turbo dave. Spent a little more, and went with a s488 from mike turbo inc. Company had great reveiws. Ebay account had 100 percent positive feedback. Plus he was very helpful over the phone before i even mentioned possibly purchasing from him.

 

Alright another update. I purchased a s488 from mikes turbo inc. So far he has bin great to work with. He stays in constant contact and they aways answer there phone during hours. Great cutomer service he even upgraded my wheel to a billet for no cost, since they didnt have the standards in stock. Chalk that up as a win for me. Strongly recomend them so far. Turbo will b here tomorrow. fast shipping.
