Manual steering box.
The Z Isn't going to see Daily use anymore..
Beings that the pump, lines, and powersteering box are all beat up and leaking after 245,000 miles of abuse it's time to pull them.
Looking for a Manual box for it and not having much success.. I can't seem to find a manual box from an S-10 round here anywhere.. i've been to most of the bone yards round here repeated times, and had no luck finding the box.. a few empty spaces but no box.
My Question is now.... Who makes aftermarket Manual steering boxes, where, and how much. of if someon in the South Jersey area knows were a box is. clue me in
and.. people that have them, how do they like them?

manual steering
You can use a manual vega steering box. It is smaller and lighter than the S-10 box. I used to have one in my car but I switched to a rack and pinion. Ed Quay race cars has everything you need, including the steering box, to put one in your car. The phone number is (610) 326-8050 or you can visit his web site and www.edquay.com. If you want to spend a little more money Jeg's sells a new Flaming River Vega box. I would go that route if it was me then buy the modified pitman arm and steering rod to link the column to the Vega box.
You can also go to www.flaming-river.com They also sell everything you need including pitman arm.

I should start pulling them out of the S10's I see and sell them here or on Ebay. There seems to be a good demand. I saw 2 in the wreckers last week.
What would a good resale price be for a used manual box? I don't even know what a new one costs.
