surf over to ubb.nfraracing.com
the nearly completed rules are posted in their respective forums. There has been a lot of talk between those of us who are involved. There are some doubts about some things and I want to get a good idea of where people are on certain issues.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep this a constructive thread. I do not want to see anyone arguing. We are trying to get things concrete and I want to get some thoughts on the rules.
Thanks in advance for everyone's patience and co-operation. Things are nearly ready to come together.

Guido, I have a few questions/conserns about WILD STREET.
Obviously, this is the class we are all gunning for, but people like Tom G. and myself are still uncertain if our cars will fit in the class. My main concern is the intake, as you know, I have a Victor Super Junior, modified for EFI. Will this be legal? Tire size is another concern, you guys are allowing a 29x13.5 (non W) or a 28x10.5W????? can you tell us why a 29x13.5 tire is permitted in the class. And the last thing on my "list" is the hood being limited to 5", not 5.5". This rule is fine, but will eliminate all possibility of me entering in an NFRA event. Any idea's where my car will fit in NFRA?

Outlaw street why no 33x10.5s? Isnt that what ALL outlaw 10.5 cars run?
Take a look at ALL outlaw 10.5 tracks and racing series. ALL of them allow 33x10.5s. OSCA, NSCA, shadyside, brainerd, macon, Orlando, MIR, Cecil County, PSCA, phenix city, englishtown Q8. They ALL say that if it is a 10.5w you are ready to run 33,31 or 29 ok. If you want cars to show up make it easy to cross over from another series rather than changing your setup for one race.
2nd Q: A tunnel ram is OK but needs to fit under a 5" hood? you immediately disqualify all blown cars, and most every tunnel ram car.
Most of the rules are linked @ www.nescaracing.com if you are interested

I think that the wipers/horn/turnsignals rule is a little silly. I know of plenty guys racing here in KY in the OSCA and they dont require those things. I can understand if the car was trying for a TRUE street class... Seriously- how many people who own fast cars are concerned with driving in the rain, or just plain driving on the street period?
