Thought i'd throw another "what would my 1/4 be" question on the board for you guys to have fun w/

heres the setup...

New 350 CID (TBI) – 5.7l V8, bored .030 over, Keith Black flat-tops w/ 9.5:1 CR, Crane cam .427 lift and 270* duration. Havent had the opportunity to pull **** apart and check what kind of heads are on it, but they are aluminum. Tranny was rebuilt same time as the new motor went in (approx 2000 miles ago)... 'vette servos,drums,bands and TCI stage 2 shift kit. B&M 2000 TC and stock gears.


I bought this car last fall but haven't been able to drive it until i sell my Avenger and switch the insurance over (mom doesn't wanna pay insurance on 2 cars for me)... luckily my avenger is gone within a few days and i'm bringing the camaro outta storage... unfortunately there aren't any tracks around my area - - closest one is probably an hour away. Anyways, i've saved a good 2 grand almost to put into it. Unfortunately the underbody is way rusted so i need to find a new body.... so that leaves me w/ only a little over 1k to work w/, which i will be planning on doing dual hooker exhaust.... then workin my way once i save more $$ and replacing the cam, head work if needed, and swappin to a carb (screw the ecm).... lastly will be 3.73 POSI and a higher TC probably....

So if anyone has a guess for 1/4 times now, and for when i get around to building it a bit more. Thanks

 

If you wan to take your car to the track you can come out to milan dragway, it might tak you an hour to get there. But I will be there the first weekend in april, then you can know for sure what it runs.

well i'd like to go up to milan and check out the track, but that saturday (the 6th) i have ACT tests, and will be working all day sunday : \ And it seems to be taking longer than planned to get the damn title back from the bank... so i dunno when i will actually be able to drive the thing (...legally at least )

so anyone have any guesses as to what it can run in the 1/4?? thanks
