The big bock is sold

Well... the big block is sold and will be shipped out soon. I'm sure it comes as a surprise to some of you even though I've been talking about it. The hardest thing was just finding a buyer.

I'm actually doing a trade for a small block that will replace it. Probably makes around 430 to 450 Hp. Matched with the Tremec with a 3.27 first gear, the 3.73 rear gears, drag radials, and suspension... the small block car ought to be a nasty street killer anyhow. AND I won't need a big hole cut in the hood. Can you say, sleeper???

HE LIVES!

I'm not suprised you sold it. The car was getting too close to being complete so I knew you were going to change something and you did advertise it. I am, however, suprised that your keeping the car. Last I heard you wanted to sell it too.

For right now I'm going to keep the car. A "stock" Vette isn't all that much fun after all. I may sell the Vette this summer when the value goes up.

Good call Jon on both accounts!

A Vette vert will sell quickly during the summer, having said that, I think you should bring that bad boy out here to the Oregon Coast for one last cruise during our Gathering, then Ill take the pics to help you sell it.

I think the small block I'm getting will run pretty hard. I'm considering giving it a little bit of the funny gas just to make sure too.

As for right now I'd run my Vette against your Camaro... until you get a gear swap Then I think I'll just have to decline!

Nice, good old sleeper look. How much do you plan on spraying. I'm going with a 150 shot.

I'll drive it for a while and feel how it runs. Then I'll decide how much nitrous, if any.
