my susp sucks at the moment
the rear end just squats really bad.
and it seems I either get a lot of spin or wheel hop or I just bog the motor down.
the only thing is though I don't want to get a setup just for drag racing as auto-x is what I would rather do
stock spring rates are something like 118 front rear
while I am wanting to go to a 350/225 f/r with koni yellows for shocks and poly bushing
just hope that will help my drag a little as well

rx, as you can see i have an eibach pro kit and yellow koni sports all the way around.
I was running 2.6 60's before i installed this setup, so i figured it couldnt get much worse. Well guess what? It improved 100 fold. In drag racing you need a sloppy front end and a stiff rear end. My rear before was so loose it would just COOK the tires (2.6 60's are very indicative of that.) Now dont get me wrong the front struts ARENT 90/10's there nowhere even close, just that a properly FUNCTIONING rear and good struts up front in combination with the new springs lets me PLANT and go. It's a beatifull thing really. I've got a buddy with a BOXTER S. Before the swap he used to school me, after the swap i pulled so hard out of the hole he couldnt recover, even when we reached HIS rpm band it was just oo much.
This goes to prove you CAN have your pie and eat it too... And hey, when you're not running the times you want with an auto X setup just make more power and add bigger slicks

I figure the same with my car
nothing will make it get any worse
just everything on my car is so old and sloppy that I can´t plant on the ground. even with the auto-x springs I could prolly do better. and if nothing else just new struts and bushings would prolly do a world of good
oh yeah just another thing that sux
4 wheel steering.
under accel the rear wheels get toe in and I think a little bit of camber though not sure on that last part.... and IRS sux big *****

Hey rx7speed, that other post was locked so I thought I would say this here. I was just after psycomaross and shouldn't have said anything towards you, so I apologize. I shouldn't have said anything about your drag racing event. Hell, I used to have a rx7 and they are fun, but I will never go back.
Got to love that torque

uh my tires where low so I inflated them... I think I over inflated them a tad bit due to a tire pressure thing that was sticking.... no I have no grip....

still working on things though
