Sorry this is a bit off topic, but I'll likely be driving my thirdgen so there . I posted a thread like this about Washington quite some time ago, but I was never able to make the trip. Gonna try again this spring, this time not so far north.

I plan on taking a road trip up to Oregon sometime soon. I'd like to stick to the southern third of the state. What do I want to see? Nothing, really. I have no expectations, I've just never been to Oregon and I want to check it out. Don't want to spend more than 2, MAYBE 3 nights away from home. What are some areas I should check out? Or perhaps a good "circle" I can make through the southern part of the state? Maybe I could meet up with a thirdgen buddy or two

Crater Lake is a must see. Its also a pretty nice drive from Grants Pass to Crescent City.

Hey, I might be heading to Eugene this summer in the Formula if you want to meet up, we can road trip down there... And you can split and sightsee or what ever.

 

I am going to Eugene in a month if you want to meet up and cruise to Oregon. Don't know if you are still interested in this or not.

 

I live in Grants Pass, and Crater Lake is awesome. I would check it out. And you'll love driving on the back roads in Oregon, beautiful mountains.
