ive got an 84 trans am, and I need a new steering colum, anyone local or willing to ship? ill pay the shipping cost of coarse, im looking for an 84 colum if possible or the closest thing to it. im not sure what years they changed things, i know my 88 colum i have, the electric connections are different. and the early 82 also wont work, so preferably 84-86. its tilt too. and I need a key, Im not sure if the camaro uses the same colum or not.

 

the steering columns are all the same you can change the wire harness
I have a column from my 89 but it has the lever key release a pain in the @@@

you can use your ignition lock in any column
