I am crazy, but I am thinking about buying a second IROC-Z28. Please let me know what you guys think of this one. The guy says:
i have a 1989 chevy camaro iroc-z for sale it is the rare 5.7 tpi engine with the 700r4 trans also has the ttops as well as power windows and locks. I justed recently did the full tune up including the oil change on the engine and tranny as well as the spark plugs and wires also took it to a professional mechanic to replace the strarter, fuel relay, and throttle position sensor along with the heater core fast fun car to drive on the summer. Asking price is $2200.
He says everything is good except it has a slight tear in the drivers seat and t-top area is drooping slightly, also says dash is slightly cracked. However, the main thing that I don't like is that he says it has a SALVAGE TITLE because someone previously stole something out of it, but has not been in a accident. I will be looking at it soon, please tell me what you think!
Thanks, Alex

Doesn't take much to get a salvaged title for a car that old. doesn't really mean it was totaled beyond repair, just that it costs more to fix than it is worth. Look it over hard, take it to a mechanic if you are worried, and if it drives straight and nice I say it is a good deal. I have always like the blue ones!
awesome thanks, oh 1 more thing, he said the odometer reads 50k miles but he thinks it has turned over once so 150k miles.
Be cautious, it has been repainted in the rear at least. That isn't the stock spoiler, so the holes in the 1/4s needed to be filled and repainted.

Opinions are like 3rd gen owners....
pay the money and have it inspected by a shop.
use to be only like $50 at name brand places....
[they hope ya come back for other service]

Thats good advice, Thanks! I will be trying to get a mechanic friend of mine to inspect and also gonna be funny and bring my IROC-Z to compare. Here is another pic of it. The black one is my current IROC.
