it was awesome... definately need to plan for one again...

The weather could have been better but thats ok... beach roads suck, but again, ok

Everyone had a good time, took lots of pics, Roshambo, Crusader and Amorget all have pics that have been uploaded or will be uploaded soon so I'll let them post the links

Only 5 cars, 4 of which were V8 (305's) and Auto, and the V6 Auto... mine is still outta commission for awhile (I woulda been the only person with a 350 and a stick, but atleast I would have fit in hehe) ... 12 people total, John had his Neon and his wife/girlfriend/person and son with him ... I switched between rides with Crusader and Summer most of the time, DeathZ had a friend along and Roshambo had a friend along, and of course summers husband was there too... so it was a decent turn out...

Everyone argues to joe and andy "You drove 6-8 hours for a gathering with only 5 F-Bodies?" ... hope no one else argues that... its the quality of people who count, not the # of cars that shows up ... although I would have loved to drive mine down, it just wasn't gonna happen

But I'm glad everyone who showed up wanted to show up and had no real disappointments that the rest of us didn't have... Weather and Roads being the two disappointments

Personally I would have liked for it to have been longer, but most everyone has a life after the weekend ends so its only fair to everyone that we left on sunday

next time though... we're gonna go longer, hehe

You missed a lot! It was a awesome time and no I don't have pictures to upload, but we have pics from John, Rosh, and Crusader. We also have stills coming in from Summer, Death, and Suped-up 82. Hopefully w/ them all at one place (cascadecrew.org) we will be able to do thumbnails of them all and make a huge gathering page.
I have a video of the gathering, shorter then I thought (12 minutes) but it does capture the flavor of the event pretty well! Also has some very fun parts in it. Just wish I woulda taped more.
Anyway, hope you can come to the next one! It is a killer time and really the quality of this group is second to none! We sat on a porch at 12 AM in sleeping bags and talked, how many other crews do that!!

Later,
RS

I think that 3 or 4 hour conversation on the porch was one of the best things of the gathering... it was kind of disappointing that everyone couldn't be included for various reasons, but the 5 of us who were sittin there freezing our asses off (atleast for little bit...), had fun... its been a long time since I had that much fun with a group of people, and even longer since i've laughed that damn much (that bottle thing and the plastic bag thing were two of the best laughs )

Next time we're doing this a bit more prepared, a bit longer, and hopefully with a few more people

Everone else pretty much summed up the gathering experience pretty well so I'll just add my pictures...

Here is the directory listing of the pictures Demon and I took at the gathering with my digital camera.

One of my favorites

I have wallpaper sizes (straight off the camera) of all the pictures if ya want any just ask.
