Beater T/A up for grabs
Saw it between Auburn and enumscratch, 350 with 4:11 posi, needs carb work, $350 or BO.
Early model with bubble hood
Could be a good parts car, let me know if you want more info. It's been there for a while

How bad of a beater is it?
Also, could it be driven onto a trailer?
I'd be pretty interested in that car because I've got a lot of new small block stuff sitting around from my car buildup that I'm not using because of the big block. In other words, I've got first dibs.

Demon, do you just want the rearend? We pulled the BW 9-bolt from my buddy's car last year to put in a Strange 12-bolt. It's from an 89 IROC 350 car and it has only 55K miles with a posi and the entire disk brake setup still sitting on it. Literally plug and play. He has the original Bilstien shocks off the car too. Just upgraded for the heck of it. He'll throw in the shocks with it. They're no good to him that's for sure. He doesn't even have the car anymore.

I'll scope it out otw to work in the AM and post the dudes ph no here. It's the ultitmate thrashmobile, while I was looking at it some characters drove by and honked as if saying " look at that bozo, he is actually considering this heap" lol.
I grabbed the back spoiler and it lifted up with ease, anchored only by one strut heheh
Anyway I just shook it off and climbed back into my Eurosport and headed back home. The drive from Auburn to homebase is awesome, MtRainier is in your face the whole way, today was one of those days I don't mind the commute.
The chief engineer's PC went bonkers this AM, spent the rest of the day reinstalling NT and all the applications, 10 hr day today and after a couple of 22ozers im beat.

It has 2.7x gears in it. The posi is probably in near perfect condition because he bought the car from a retired couple at 35K miles. He put 20K easy miles on the car and sold it just after installing the Strange 12-bolt, 1-LE brakes, Kenny Brown suspension, 4 new Bilstien sport shocks, Hotchkis rear sway bar, Kenny Brown super subframe connectors, Hooker Supercomp headers, Random Tech. CAT, and SLP CAT back. Seriously, he didn't hardly have 100 miles on all that crap. We tested the car once out at the airport and that's it. I can't believe he sold it.
He was asking $600 for it locally but had no bites at all. I'm sure he'll take $500 in an instant. That's probably higher then a junkyard deal but this trully is a good deal because it's a low mileage car that's been babied. Plus you get 4 Bilstien shocks from an IROC 350 (granted, not more then 20K miles left in them but they're free!) and if you want you can have the rear sway bar, control arms, and panhard rod. He never abused it because he didn't want to stress anything. That's why he installed the good stuff.... and then sold it
I'm not sure if you're aware of this but I have a full brand new exhaust system still in the box. Hooker Supercomp headers and Flowmaster 3" mandrel bent with 2-chamber muffler and dual 3" polished tips. I want 80% of new cost. It wouldn't be worthwhile to make a trip just for that but if you're coming down for the rearend you might as well think about the exhaust too.

well, I'd love de shocks but I want something of a bit higher gearing (I currently have a 3.73 but its going out
its a manual ..)
Anyways... the rest of it looks good too but I got like no way to get there and really don't have much money...
Are the headers full length?
I wanna go full length with purple hornies off of em
but I can't get the hedman because they won't clear the clutch assembly

You can get a 3.73 gear set for it. I can't remember who makes it but I can find out. They started making it a month after he bought the Strange 12-bolt. DOH!!!! I don't want to speak for him but I suspect he would deliver just to get rid of it. It's been sitting around taking up room for 9 months. Plus he's getting married and he wants money.
It doesn't hurt to make an offer either. Just let me know what your limit is and I'll ask him. Can't hurt. I have no interest in it so I don't care if you say $50. I'll still ask him. It's his deal, not mine.
Mine are shorty headers. Hooker makes a set of full length SuperComps that will clear your tranny.

unfortunately I wouldn't be able to go over $100...
if my only option is indeed those hooker full lengths... I'ma be paying $400 for a set of uncoated...
I still need to buy a new radiator and a few other things rather soon as well, LOL...

Hmm... I really don't want that beater. I just saw a chance to make some money. You would make more use of it then me. Go for it.
Using the full lenghts would be very spendy. You're best deal is to use my new exhaust system. 80% of new price and it will sound baaaad with two 3" duals peeking out the back.
When I got my radiator for the Firebird I went to a local place and they had a 3-core brass that fit in perfect. It's larger then stock but only cost about $160. I can double check the price and part number if you like. I bought one of those 4-core aluminum jobs earlier that were supposed to fit... ya right. I traded it off to a guy in exchange for welding up my subframes and exhaust. He thinks he's going to put it in his '65 Chevelle.... ya right
Some people need better spacial perception.

I might... depends on the condition and what the engine has n stuffs

the headers I need are $400 uncoated (luckilly I can get coating done for cheap)
Right now I've got 4 or 5 inch pipe out the back and it don't get much smaller than that all the way to my current trashed muffler (which is where the cat should be btw)...
I wanna run full length headers with a pair of purple hornies... YEAH BABY!!!

if the interior on it is black and the rearend is good, I'll definately take it and part out the rest

Windows are dark tinted, seats had covers on them. Its across from the Enumclaw Sales Pavillion just outside of town on 164. Glass seems ok, overall its not that clean but for 350 I would say its a fair deal. I can take some pics on monday if you wish.

if I buy it I'm going to be using the doors (assuming they're in good condition) and putting my old doors back on it, LOL ... need tinted stuff...
I should call the person tonight and find out more hehehe
do I need to ask for anyone specific?
