Steel Erection

This one hits home to me, putting together structures is a part of my occupational history Paying my dues in the 80's, slappin together this type of construction was the status quo

Steel erection at the General Motors Technical Center in Warren, Mich., is proceeding, including 7,900 pieces of steel recycled from scrapped cars and weighing 9,427 tons. The eight-story, 960,000-sq. ft. tower is being joined with an existing 1.2 million-sq. ft. building to ultimately house 8,000 vehicle development engineers by the end of 2003. This photo shows where the new tower is being joined into the existing structure.

No really. That's The Erection Connection's motto. They have a large crane erecting just that. They wear the shirts on site quite often.

Hehe, some of the older memebers in here probably need an 'erector set'. Sorry, had to say it
