Cat was the problem...
Cat was the problem...
As some of you might remember I was having heat problems with the car. When it got too hot it would stutter while starting from a complete stop. I changed plugs, wires, cap and rotor, etc... and nothing seemed to help. If anything it made it worse. I had to recently get my Exhaust done; and when I did, I found out the cat was toast. When I changed that, as well, the car no longer shoots out smoke at startup.(I though that was the valve seals) If I leave the car idle it no longer gets near as hot as it used to. Figured I would let everyone know this, just incase you have a similar problem. Check the cat, it might be the problem. BTW, aircare sucks
but I passed

Good news. But hate to tell you...your valve stem seals still leak. The new cat is just burning the fumes. If it use to smoke alot the cat probably wont last long. The xtra fuel(oil) in the smoke will eventually either plug or overheat the new cat. I finally gave up on mine and cleaned it out. No emission here anyway.
