Round #2 with Illinois
I posted a couple months ago about possibly moving to Illinois. As you all know I didn't but it's happening all over again with another position in the same company. I'll keep you all posted as to what happens.

Ah, the CAT plant in Illinois... my dad just got back from there a couple of weeks ago. He said it was pretty cool, they do the machining of the big crankshafts in one part of the plant IIRC.
He also said that the robotics there is really neat, it looks like the arm is picking the parts up, looking at them, then says 'Ok, this one goes here, this next one goes here...'. Probably makes more sense if I explained it in person.
Anyway, good luck with the job.

I know what you're talking about. I toured their facilities last time I interviewed. All I can say is they do some of the coolest things you could imagine. Definetely one of those fun places to work. A lot better then the paper pusher job I have now!
