new project car...1985 TA

Hey all. been a long time since I used these boards, but I got bird fever. Went and picked out a 1985 TA. I haven't done research to see what the car originally came with, but it is currently a 350 with edlebrock manifold and carb. The owner and I did a part trade/part cash deal. Think it worked out for both of us, paid 1600 cash and a mossberg 30-06 rifle. Nice runner, had tons of power, good oil pressure, and seemed solid. The t tops leak, I know, Shocking right?! and the interior has seen better days, but I don't mind putting some work into it.

Anyway, I had to get tags for it from DMV and get it on my insurance, but going to be driving it home tomorrow.

here is some pics!

So far, done a few things to her. Got the plugs wire cap rotor ignition coil changed out.

Bought the rear rotors and ceramic pads and new KYB shocks. Going to get those changed out hopefully this weekend.

You did pretty good on the deal. Having a project you can drive and enjoy while you work on it is nice, good luck with it.
