Re: LOOKING FOR MEMBER INPUT

Sounds like somebody that meticulously maintained their car and also enjoyed it. Those are really good people to buy from. When a car has high miles the only thing that matters is condition.

Edit: I was looking at pictures on my phone. Viewed again on my computer and not sure what's up with the missing pieces of interior?

Re: LOOKING FOR MEMBER INPUT

Although it seems like over all it's in ok condition, I have to point out, adding up all the little things we can notice in the pictures, I would not say it is in very good condition. Looks like the paint may be ok, not great, the decals are in bad shape. It's missing an emblem, Looks like the console lid is broke off and just laying on there. The plastic door trim/plate is missing? Kick panels missing? Wires hanging down (courtesy light) and wire coming out of the gear shifter. The door panel electronics on the passenger side just hanging. The dash by the light switch seems to be missing trim. What was going on with it, why were these things even taken apart? There does seem to be some issues, and these would be things/flags that would knock down money to a potential buyer. What issues does it have? Air work? Windows, locks, etc. Be honest, if your asking for and honest suggestion.

Re: LOOKING FOR MEMBER INPUT

Thank you. I am aware of the items you mentioned as I was in the process of putting things back together after removing the entire interior for sound deadening. Everything electrical on this car work. The fog light and cigarette lighter button I have. I have ALL of the parts for the interior. Invoices, bills, guarantees going back over 30 years. It’s all here. As for looks with 90% original paint, I was just looking for an idea. Thank for your input

Re: LOOKING FOR MEMBER INPUT

Well, with the little things all put back together and in proper condition to show for sell, I would say this is definitely a car that has been care for with those miles, since if I'm figuring correctly the US mileage would be a little over 200,000. That being said, it would not bring the very low mileage money, but yet is a desirable car with the year and right options that it does have. IF I was looking, I would be interested for the 8000 - 12000 (US) neighborhood. I see ones for less money with those miles, but not that condition. More money I see alot less miles. Just my two cents. Either way, nice car.
