Well, after the game today, I figured I'd get a start on painting the rims. I finally got the rest of the paint off and got the sand paper I needed for the job. I started on one of them and then it got to dark to contine but it's looking really good so far. They are already starting to shine up and I'm only at the stage of using 220 grit paper. I've been taking pictures as I go along, so I'll be sure to post them on a website when it's done so whoever is interested can check it out. To let you know Blue502, I went with your suggestion and got the 16x8 '91-'92 Z28 rims, and put the 14's on until they're ready.

I'll keep everyone posted.

how much did it cost for those rims? I'm looking to get a set of IROC rims too. although I may try looking for 18's tho.

 

Well, I paid $150 US for the rims on ebay. Also $80 for shipping, so over all I say I got a smoking deal. Especially since they are cleaning up so nicely.
