Want to BUY 3rd

Howdy. I just wanted to put up another post to say HI.

And I am still on the prowl for a 3rd gen. Camaro V8 5.7 prefer 5spd, but auto fine. A Trans if that is all that is out there. Not to picky on the way is looks as long as a coat of paint could make it nice & most parts are there, and get cheap. But runs strong. Or, yes, or even 4th with V8.
Looking to spend no more than 2500(I can also put some movie passes in if that will help the price go down) or less would be better. More money for parts.
Or, ( I have never swapped a motor, nor have the tools.) supper cheap V6 and put in 5.7. How much could that be done for??

Well thanks for your time. And thanks for any help in advance.
Post here, email motor_n21@yahoo.com or call 277-8330. Pics woul be nice also.

Hi Leo -- send PM to Crazy Hawaiian, he has a lead on several Camaros -- the white one his buddy has for sale sounds pretty good. For a daily driver, save time/labor/gas expenses by starting out with Z28 or IROC pref 5.7 TPI, instead of "working" into it in a series of upgrades. Years of '87-92 have the most modern stuff.

Leo, I know an older couple selling a '89 white firebird. 305/Auto t-tops, sagging headliner, 1 owner, roughly 80k miles. That's about all I know, don't even know which 305 it is.

I can give you a call when I get in touch with her this week if you are interested. My cell is 398-7193.

Thanks Scott, sure let me know. Are you sure it is 305. Realy would like to get the next size up.

And the only car I have been able to check out it is a 90 5.0 stang GT. Not my first choice or cars, but I would drive it. But, kind of running out of time here. I guess I could get it for a bit and sale it when a camaro or something pops up.

Thanks for all your help so far.

Leo.

Not entirely sure, just info that I got from the couple when they were on my lot.

I haven't heard back from them yet- they probably bought a car from another dealership and think I'm leaving them messages to get them back on my lot. I'm really just trying to take that firebird off their hands....

Yesssssssssssss!!! Found a camaro, finally. A bit more than I was wanting to spend. But hey, it is what I wanted. Just in time. I was about to get the white stang, then a black beauty showed up and was just calling to me. An auto, oh well I think I can live with that for now. And if I ever get crazy, I'll get it swapped.

And what is it? 92 Z28 25th Ann Camaro 350 5.7L TPI I just can not wait to get it, the rest of my cash showed up, so now I just got to get the time to get it. And I will be on vacation in two days so just play time ahead Can not get much better than that. Just want to say a big Thanks to Jon!!!! and for waiting for me

Great find! You've got a top-of-the-line Camaro -- post a couple photos when you have a chance.
