Cheap Project Camaro

Anyone looking for a cheap project Camaro? Current owner decided he wanted to focus on a different project so this one is up for grabs. Its a 92, its a V8, its in storage, and its $500. Just want to get back everything he spent on the car so far. Lemme know guys!

This is the car Tone bought from Ed. Its a teal 92 RS w/ L03/700R4 and drum 10 bolt open rearend. Has some rust spots, above the pass door, and on the pass side a-pillar, none of the spots are broken through yet, just bubbling under the paint. I won't lie, drivetrain needs work. Trans slips and motor blows white smoke. But it does drive and the only legality part, windshield has a small crack, can hardly see but might not pass safety inspection. Comes with a set of 15" IROC wheels and tires that hold air (aka bald freebies). New alt, new battery. Full Interior. Broken pass side window motor. Crazy alarm system that needs to be disconnected because it drains the battery. Car has some suspension stuff, Tokiko HP's and drop springs. I was gonna donate a wonderbar. If nobody is interested its probably going to be parted out. Could make a good car if someone had the time/money.

Damn, except for the suspension stuff at the end, it just kept sounded worse and worse haha!

That's a few too many strikes for a "dirty little play toy" that I'm thinking of. I'm passing on this one.

It sounds worse than it actually is... This is the same car I bought at auction from the Schofield salvage yard and it didn't appear to be in bad shape at the time. Problem was, it was owned by a Soldier who deployed to Iraq for a year and the car just sat and deteroriated. At the salvage yard when the engine was started and car driven around, it looked pretty tight, but after I got it home and CH picked it up and drove it out on the highway back to his place, the more it was driven the more it became apparent that the trans was toast and it had possible head gasket problems. Still, it's a straight, nice looking 3rdGen that needs some TLC and a trans for sure. The "red flag" here is that it's really hard to know what kind of shape a car is in at auction, especially when it is restricted to the storage lot.
