Disc Brake Posi Diff for sale

I have a disc brake posi differential from an '87 Z for sale. I have the master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve and the complete diff all available. The rotors and calipers are toast, but I do have them (you can use the calipers for cores). The brake lines were cut so you will need new ones and I don't have the e-brake cable. The control arms are attached and they have new poly bushings attached.

I'd like $150, but feel free to make an offer. You'll have to pick it up from my house just north of Atlanta (right off of I-85). I'll throw in a set of firebird slotted wheels for your troubles. I can email pictures if you are interested.

What ratio? And will you ship out? I'm looking for 3.27's or 3.42's.

It's a 3:27, but, I'm afraid I can't ship it. It's very heavy and I don't have any experience with shipping something like that.

YOU ARE THE MAN! I am over in Augusta and could come by and get it. I have been looking for this exact set-up for a while. Do you know if the rear is in good working order except for the rotors and calipers? Email me back at tonyandjend@knology.net or PM me. I will check this again about 2pm EST today (Saturday) If the rear if fine I will come get it. My wife is out of town today but I am off work Monday, can I come by in the morning or early afternoon. Email me some pics to the above listed email. Thanks
Tony

You have mail, my brutha'! I'm not sure I mentioned in my mail, but, I've never run the rear end but I have no reason to believe it doesn't work. It looks great and doesn't leak.

Outstanding, I can't wait to hear about it and see it. Still, I don't know how you can drive a third gen when you've got a sweet vette in the driveway. Of course that may just be my vette envy talking.

Nostalgic, I get a lot of comments on both. I can put the kids in the IROC and not the vette. I got the cover off and the gears are 3:42's. I ordered the calipers and rotors and the will be here by 1pm. The stainless steel braided lines will take a little longer, special ordered. I do have question. The brakebooster, master cylinder and the proportioning valve that are all connected is the actual one for that rear right? The proportioning valve that was all by itself looks like mine that goes on a drum rear end. Just need a quick clarification. Thanks again

I'm sorry about the ratio, I hope it's not a problem.

As for the prop valve, and the rest of the equipment, I was told that they went with the rear end when I bought it. I can't tell by looking at them if they are different. I bought them from a guy that told me he took the whole set up out of one car. Like I said, though, let me know if any of that turns out to be wrong or if there is some other problem.

T - I got edjumacated the 13:42 means it is a 3.23 not what I assumed it meant, 3:42. Everything is awesome. I have mostly cleaned up and starting to repaint it back to a satin black color. Thanks again
