Rear Hatch Panel
Hi, I'm in the process of restoring my 1989 Iroc-Z. I've been able to hunt down every body panel I need except for the rear hatch panel, which is rusted out. I'm willing to pay a fair price for a hatch panel that is RUST FREE. If you're located anywhere I can drive to in a day (from Southen Ontario), I'll come pick it up. Depending on how reasonable the price, I'd pay for shipping if necessary. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well, that sounds like it's exactly what I'm looking for. My car is actually the Bright Blue Metallic, but it doesn't much matter...it's all getting painted anyways. Is there any chance you could maybe post some pictures of the panel?

I have a whole car that color that was t-boned in the drivers side. the rubber seal for the rear hatch, t-top seal, most of the grey interrior is ok, complete dash minus pad, rear, tank, etc etc.. plus a nice 3" cowl hood that color. If you're making a trip you might pick over it.. the 305TBI has 70k on it.

ok I braved the cold and snow and brought this thing back home for pictures...

I did not even wipe the dirt off.. and I took a closeup of part of the underside so you can see no rust.
I have the hatch rubber seal too.
I have hatch glass too, in storage.. take a couple days to get that.

Well, I've found a hatch panel rather quickly, so thanks to all who replied! 92Z, I really appreciate your help, but I found a closer hatch to alleviate driving 5 hours. Thanks though.
