i need a 27 spline torque converter for the 700r4 (1983).

check out www.bulkpart.com they have rebuilt converters for your application(27 spline) with a "medium stall"(1650 ) for $103.95 plus shipping ($16.95)......code or pn# would be B15(low stall), B15-MS(med stall) or B15-HS (high stall..2000). The HS is $120.75...Hope this helps.

I have a 12 inch 2400 stall for sale, 100 bucks, and a 9.5 ACT 2800 stall for $450. The ACT is an awesome convertor, both of them have lock up, let me know if you are interested.
