Well mine finally bit it and I need a new rad for my T/A. Anyone nearby have one in good shape? The last two I have bought have leaked like mothers.

 

Have you been buying new or used ones?

 

Used, from the junkyard. I am moving to Vancouver in september so I dont have any money, so anew one is out of the question. And the ones I get at the JY just leak more and more...

edit: And I cant even see if my new carb runs properly until I get the rad issue fixed.

 

Where are they leaking from? Have you tried finding out how much it would cost to get it fixed?

 

Yeah, the rad shop wants $280 for a new plastic one, or $250 to repair my current metal one. Mine was leaking from the core just above the lower hose. Right where the sseam is. The next one leaked from the very bottom where the fins meet the side core, and the latest one, I have no idea. I just get a stream of water out of it when I tip it. I think it might be leaking from a few fins at once.

 

I live in Red Deer i have a radiator i will sell you its in good shape. call anytime at 1-403-350-3790. its from an 84 berlinetta so i dont know if it will work on your car but i can give it to you for cheap since its absolutly useless to me now.
