If you use a cold air for a 4th gen LT1 setup and an LT1 style elbow, relocate or remove the charcoal can, cut a hole in the spot where the charcoal can sat, remove or relocate the sputnik looking vacuum can and do a little baffling in front of the driver side tire to prevent water from spraying on the filter from the tire, and you are done.
Sounds confusing and like alot of work, but it isnt bad at all. I am assuming that the charcoal can on your car is on te driver side where the battery is on the other side. I used a K&N FIPK kit.
There is probably an easier way, but this is truly a cold air intake as the element is completely outside of the engine bay. It works well.
