Designed cold air intake for carburetor models

Ok so I just made my own cold air intake, and I want to put a heat shield on it. I've tried making my own and it was alot harder than expected, so I decided to search the Internet for some heat shields I found a few that looked like they might fit but they look a little to big. My question is has anyone found a heat shield on the Web that can work with little or no fabrication?

Make your own out of thin alum. house roof flashing. This stuff will bend by hand, cuts easy, etc.

Something like this http://www.homedepot.com/p/Amerimax-...8310/100054269

You could add some 1"x 1" or 1" x 2" boards to the inside of it to give it more strength.. Just use sheet metal screws through the flashing and into the boards.

Or even use metal or plastic strips screwed to it for support
