My ram air hood and hood pin install

Hey guys just wanted to drop an update on my 89 GTA project and a recent edition. A ram air hood and hood pin install! Pictures of the work and finished product! It looks pretty sweet! Next is the air box to make the hood fully functional over the old stock crappy elephant trunk air intake system.

Looks good to me.
I've never see that style pin cover. Would you take a closer photo of the top with it all installed.


I put my pins in the same spot. It was a job getting the flat washer then lock washer and nut on the bottom, but they have not moved in over 9 years now.
Also I found out quickly to pull my pins before I pull the hood latch.

Here they are. I still need to adjust the pin as it sits a little too high through the scuff plate.
