Electric supercharger???
Electric supercharger???
How would a electric supercharger work in our cars? Its flows 150cfm and spins at 8000rpm. Doesn't say how many psi. Only $50.
Would this make a noticable difference or is it a scam???
thanks

yea...guess its a scam. A guy on ebay is selling them...

i know this wouldn't compress the air any, just curious if it would increase airflow.
Does anyone know what cfm our cars pull at high rpm??? I believe our throttle bodies can pull up to 500-1000cfm right? So i guess if the "electric supercharger" puts through 150cfm, then it would restrict airflow, not add 150cfm to whatever we are pulling...right???

It might increase airflow if your going less than like 5 mph, but after that Im thinking it would just be a restriction. Its almost like a motorized version of that tornado thing that you put in the air cleaner. Looks like a big scam to me.:lala:
Heh 150 CFM? 8000 RPM? The fan for my cpu puts out more than that
There are electric superchargers out there that work (sort of) but this ain't one of em. Even on the real ones they only flow enough air to boost a small 4 cylinder (or smaller) like a motorcyle or quad.

OMG!!!!!!
I really have seen it all now.
I can't believe some poor sucker bid $252.50 on that thing.
He could've saved himself $180 by just buying a shop vac and duct taping the hose to the exhaust pipe to pull the air though the engine, would've worked better too.
All the people that actually bid on that thing should shop at Kaleco Auto. They have some awesome parts on their performance parts page.
