I am adding a ATI P1SC 9# supercharger to my 85 iroc with a stock 305. What kind of problems will I run into?

You're going to need to convert to a serpentine belt setup as the procharger will not work with the v-belt setup.

i would guess over heating as well. it seems that intercooler will block your radiator. willie is coming up witha solution though.

How bad is the over heating problem caused by the intercooler? My car runs cool except when the outside temp hits 90 or more. I have all the supentine stuff in the garage ready to go on. The only thing is the alternater has differant wiring than the one I have on it now.

I dont understand this overheating thing. the intercooler will mount on his 85 same as it mounts on my 91. I see where the intercooler mounts it could cause a light restriction of airflow but, running the cooling fans full time (wiring modification listed in the manual) my car realized no significant loss of cooling system efficiency even on 100 deg days. I still like his twin intercooler idea pirated from the 4th gen kit. but I dont know if this is everones way to do it.

ATI says that it won't restrict/change the cooling of the car. I tend to believe them. My car runs as cool as any I've heard of except when it gets realy hot. I think that is caused from age.

he had some different needs, he is making more power, and wants A/C in the heat wave as well.
