electric forced induction
electric forced induction
what about an electric fan to nutralize manifold air pressure
just to atmospheric pressure as opposed to trying to cram more in and needing to improve the short block
wouldn't this just increase the efficency of the motor
I tried something similar with a leaf blower and duct tape on
my friends crx (not on my car thats crazy) and there was a signifacant increase in rpm so why not electric it would be cheaper than a turbo not to mention colder air

There are electric superchargers available, but they typically only make a couple pounds of boost on small 4 cylinder engines. To come up with one that wouldn't be a flow restriction on a V8, not to mention actually provide boost would require something capable of flowing much more air than most are capable of. It is possible, but would probably require so much amperage that it would become impractical. BTW this topic has been addressed many times on this board, please become familiar with the search function.
