The computer only adjusts the carb's mixture at part-throttle cruise and idle, so at WOT when you're using the nitrous there's no problem.

Always a good idea to upgrade the fuel pump and lines with Nitrous, well worth it.

So, there is no problem what kit would you guys recommend? and can i just upgrade to a better mechanical fuel pump or do i need to install a electric fuel pump? Is there a page some where to get a list of things i need to do to install this system. or has any one here done it. that is installing nitrous on a cc carbed car.

Thanks
Dave

As long as the fuel system can hold 6 PSI when the nitrous is activated, you're OK. I HIGHLY recommend you buy a cheap remote fuel pressure gague kit available at most speed shops (and mail-order) and tap it into your fuel system just in front of the carb. Duck tape the gague to the windshield (temporarily!) and make a nitrous-on run. If you're outrunning the fuel system it will be obvious- fuel pressure will taper off in the high RPMs. If that's the case then you should upgrade the fuel system as appropriate.

I have found that a simple low pressure fuel pump like the Carter 5 PSI electric street pump installed back near the gas tank IN ADDITION TO THE BLOCK MOUNTED MECHANICAL PUMP can make a WORLD of difference in keeping constant fuel pressure under high demand (nitrous on) on a carbureted setup.
