Blower Bracket Shims...
Has anyone had to shim thier blower bracket or the blower on the bracket? I have had to do both with my kit in order to get my belt alignment close to perfect. But its not. I still throw my blower belt at 6,000 rpm sometimes. I finally figured out which direction I need to move the blower but I need to find "machined washers" and I need a bunch of differant sizes. And I need then pretty thin ranging to thick ones in order to get my belt aligned right.
Anyone know where I can get a shim kit like this or where I can get machined washers? I tried every hardware store known to man. Any suggesstions?

Thats fine for regular to thick washers, but i need some THIN washers in order to shim my bracket perfectly. I'm not going to be afraid to rev my engine anymore in fear of toasting a $25 belt.

go to a tranny shop every good tranny builder saves all the little shims that come in the kits that didnt fit what they were working on, some are like small washers, especially if you find a tranny shop that rebuilds planetary gear sets.
In a pinch an aluminum can can be cut up for thin shims.
I've seen shims out there in a stack with adhesive between each shim... you just peel off how ever thick you need them. Don't know where to find them though.
