I need some help with getting more power out of my 350.

Ok, heres the story. I have a completely stock Pontiac 350. It has 63,000 original miles on it. It has a 2 barrel rochester carb. All original. Well since the entire car is original (besides the paint), I want to keep it numbers matching. Heres the problem, I need POWER. I was just wondering what are some things that I can do to it? I would like to start out with a new carb and intake manifold. Next I would like to free up the exhaust with a set of headers, and pipes going back into dual mufflers. I would also like a new performance cam. I have thought about possibly having it bored out to a 355, or maybe even doing a 383 stroker. Its going to be a street car, not driven much, just for cruising here and there, and smoking ricers, I dont want to rack up the miles. I am wanting to get at least 400hp out of it. I guess what Im really asking is for some suggestions about different companies, and like what size cam would be best for me, and what size carb and types of things like that. Thank you very much.

You're asking in the power adder forum..

What answer are you looking for besides someone telling you to go forced induction or nitrous?
