supercharging
supercharging
i have an 85 T/A with 40k miles on it i have just put a 75-125 shot of nitrous on and now i want to put a supercharger on it but it is a 305 and i know ur going to say buy a 350 dont build a 305 but i dont have the money so would this work and how hard would it be to install and how much money or would a turbo be better i was looking at the prochargers. and running about 10-13 psi
I'm not going to tell you to get a 350 - cause you don't have to. But it is kind of funny that your excuse is that you "don't have enough money", and yet you have enough for a nitrous setup and super/turbo charger.
FYI, I would think that 10-13 pounds of boost plus a 125 shot may be a bit much for the stock rotating assembly... My motor is at 10.4:1 and my engine guy said that at that ratio, I probably shouldn't go over 5-6 with cast pistons, etc.
