I have a zz1 crate engine with 9.8:1 compression. I had planned to drop the compression for my Paxton SN92 but it appears that the stock gasket is a .051'' and they don't come any bigger than that if they are composite for my aluminum heads.

The paxton will be pullied to redline at 5500 engine crank rpm which is perfect. This is supposed to make 6lbs on a stock engine. I don't know what it will end up making on mine.

I will be using a carb.

Can I get away with this is?

How and How much timing should I pull at the upper end? I don't know how the weights and springs work to limit maximum advance in the distrib.
