Best way/place to mount a single turbo???

Now that I've read how easy it is to swap in a cyclone/typhoon cpu the idea of a turbo motor has crept back into my mind. For cost purposes and means of simplicity I'd go with a single turbo IC setup rather than twin.
I'm curious if you guys have pictures of your custom turbo headers?

I'd also like to keep my A/C (passenger side), smog pump, and all my other accessories. I'm not sure which side of the motor would be easier/better to mount the turbo on.

I looked at the sticky of people posting pictures of their power adders but found very few "in car" pictures of turbo setups and most (if not all) of the in car setups didn't have accessories.

1 setup I saw that looked like it could work was that of LIL QIK. The way his turbos are mounted looks like they might clear the accessories and should clear a stock hood as well, plus the intake sides of his turbos seem to point in the right direction to be plummed into an IC.

Please give me some advice and opinions so I can figure out if this may be a good plan or if I should just keep it as a wet dream.

Thanks.

Brian

if you want to keep all that crap you want to: pipe dream
if you are willing to comprimise: its a possibility

you can check out my webpage, but the headers wont even fit a stock thirdgen with motor mounts. LOL

Would a turbo manifold like LIL QIK's be the only feasible option to keep my accessories?
If so how much performance difference would there be between the manifold and header on a turbo setup?

Thanks

You can try something like this, done about 12 years ago.

Thats about the best idea i've seen...to keep all the accessories

ps: lil qwk's setup wont work with all the stock accessories...i have the same setup and it wont work

only problem is that a pricey scavange pump is needed and the 3" downpipe is routed UNDERNEATH the K-member.....because of that i'd reccomend a tubular k-member to help even more with ground clearance
