ok i was thinking about turboing my 305 for the hell of it till my 350 is done ok anyway my 305 is carb any possible way of turbo it with a carb any certin intake i need or anything i'll prob just cutom do the headers! little info i need please the only thing done to the camaro now is Holly 600dp carb 3'' dynomax muffler Headers and mild cam would i really see a gain in the turbo!

 

Depends on all what you want to do. You can put on twin t3/t4's and have enough power to blow your 305 to pieces. Or you can go single, it's up to you. In my opinion, since it's a stock 305, I'd go with like twin IHI's, very cheap turbo's. What goes over your carb I think is called a bonnet. It's basically a carb hat, which covers your carb and blows air right through it. You also need to change your carb to a blow-thru setup.

Depending on compression/money you may want to run an intercooler. There are so many variables that it is hard to determine the right things to suggest for you. Give me some info and I will let you know the setup I think would work well, also your horse power range, and if you are going to want to run this setup on the 350.

 

i would perfer to do the turbo setup on my 350 motor i am gonna set it up for it let me know whats the best setup compression is gonna be about 9-5 let me know please its gonna be totaly built tho but low compresson for force induction could you lead me in the write way for the parts?
