supercharged ls1

does anybody know if the superchargers for ls1's can be installed in a thirdgen with an ls1???? IM worried about clearance issues and stuff. has anybody ever done thiS?

i would think that it could be done without much modification.. the position of the front of the engine to the radiator is about the same between the two cars, so is width between the two inner fenders, so hood clearance of the aftercooler should be about the only concern and even then i think they both have about the same amount of clearance

Transmission: 700R4 that will magically turn into a 6 speed one day.
Just get a roots style supercharger and there wouldn't be an clearance issues at all. And no worry about intercoolers or any kind of lag. But if you want to go centrifugal, then I highly doubt that there would be any issues with clearance....you'd proably have to fab up a bracket to work with the accesories of teh LS1 and thirdgen frame. Good luck
