11.09 @ 125 (new best)

Well just got home from track and am very happy with new results.
Though traction kept me from getting what I really wanted - but hey
Today I removed 1.5% fuel from 5800-6400 and also changed lock up speed from 105 to 108 MPH.
I was rewarded with 11.09 @ 125.85 then all the other passes I spun with the last being 11.10 with 1.65 60ft. so had I had that 1.55 60ft - who knows, day over.
Looks like its time for a tire upgrade.
As always on street tires and pump gas.

Congrats on the new best! The one 400/miniram motor I built also used a single pattern cam. Just LOVED it. It also liked a tight LSA. In fact, just about everyhing I did to it worked just about the same as a single plane/carbureted setup in terms of what it liked or didn't like.

Did you try other cams before you settled on this one?

Yeah , I did have a 230/230 @ 110 lsa hyd roller in previously.
It ran well with that cam as well - maybe even just as good but the solid gave me the RPM I needed. without buying a rev kit.

Thanks alot guys, I appreciate the comments

Just noticed your car really picks up out back picking up 28+ mph which is impressive to me,wish I could get my car to mph like that.I've had plenty of 99-101mph 1/8 miles(best 101.13)but best 1/4 is a mere 124.95.I guess the fact that you have lockup and I dont could be a factor.

If you dont mind me asking how heavy is your car and what kind of rpm are you turning?

Congrats again nice run

Thanks Steve,
Well my car really suffers in the torque department and happens to go through traps just after peak HP. Thats why I want higher stall....
I wish my last run I did not spin, should have been 126 MPH .
I also wish I had a better converter to get that 60 ft like yours.
1.49 is killin it!
My car weighs 3480 with me in it. But thats on a truck scale so who knows..
Thanks again for the nice words, you got a nice runner to.
I love those 3.8s.
