hey guys
im planing on adding nitrous to my setup
im building a 383 all forged bottom end 30cc dished pistons
trickflow heads 195cc, 64cc, 2.02, 1.60 ported and poshed
i will be running a single turbo at about 10 psi through an intercooler.
the engine is goin to be carbed (probably demon 1050)
the fuel system is going to be set up with a fuel cell and a very high pressure fuel pump going through a 3 port regulator with an atmospheric valve
im mostlikly goin to go with the undermanifold option for the nitrous.
what my real question is... is how do i control the spray
i want to control it from a button but im not sure if that will work
or how will it work
this is goin to be a weekend warrior car (down to the track on weekends)

Since you are going with a blow thru you only need a 650 carb for your combo. Use a dry shot of nitrous into the turbo air inlet. A 50 shot of dry nitrous will end up making about 125 at the engine. Since you are asking, you might want to forget the nitrous. 2 power adders are a little finicky.....My $.02

You can wire the solnoids to switchs, WOT switches, window switches, hell even buttons like on the fast and the furious if you desire.
When I get my edelbrock nitrous kit I plan on a WOT throttle switch AND a toggle. I want to be able to go WOT without always engaging the nitrous. However if I flip the toggle on and go WOT then nitrous would spray. This way I can turn the nitrous off and go WOT no problem. I also like this because soon as i let off the nitrous stops. Simple enough.
Plate systems for carbed cars are very easy to install. Search this site or yahoo. you will find detailed instructions on home to install kits.
