1.6 Rocker Arms For Turbo Application

I have the engine out of my 89 twin turbo IROC for a complete exterior restoration (we are changing the color, therefore also painting the engine compartment).

I am planning a complete engine build-up most likely next winter, but was comtemplating a quick 1.6 ratio rocker arm swap to boost performance for the time being. I already have the slots in the head widened to improve pushrod clearance. Think the stock springs would be up to the task?

My theory is that the stock cam is well suited to a turbo application (I belive the specs are someting like .413/.422 lift, with 117LSA) with the wide LSA, and a little more lift would be of benefit, and wouldn't shorten the LSA all that much. What do you think? Am I wasting time and money- should I just let my motor alone until I can do it 'right'?

My engine is a bone stock 89 5.7 TPI with two JY volvo T3s, running about 6PSI boost.

i dont see how it could hurt performance. i would do it. BTW from what i hear the roller tips are pointless, but the full rollers are real nice
